Happy Thanksgiving!!!

It has been awhile since my last post and things are still busy! The kids are doing wonderful and are as cute as ever. We attempted to take family pictures a few weeks ago and we are billing it off as the first attempt...yea, they are not the best boys to sit still. Kent and I went to the Coldplay concert last week which was something we have been looking forward to for sometime and it was amazing.
Today we will be heading to Nanny and Poppy's for Thanksgiving with the whole family. We have so much to be thankful for,and are looking forward to being with the fam! Then Connor has instructed me we will be writing letters to Santa today, hahaha, so cute. Till next time, have a great Thanksgiving and go shopping lords knows this economy needs help!

Trick Or Treat

Above are pics of our boys, Batman and Robin...hehehe, just to cute!

The boys loved trick or treating last night and got their fair share of candy. Of course, we are rationing their consumption, they have a lot of energy as it is!

We have been staying busy! The boys are crazier then ever and keeping us busy being boys! Connor has his last soccer game next weekend and is getting better each time. Colin, well Colin is 100% boy!

We are looking forward to the holidays coming up a hope all is well with everyone!

It's been awhile!

It has been awhile since my last posting and things at the Freeman house are as busy as ever! Connor is still soccer challenged, but he is getting better each time! Colin, well Colin is simply crazy, a crazy 2 year old boy. Oh, man he is all boy!
I am still trying to get Connor to understand he is not allowed to tell everyone they are fat, but he just doesn't get it. He is so persist ant that at the soccer fields he was yelling about the lady being a bit heavy aka fat and I interrupted him, so he decided to go into great detail how large she was...sort of like a whale...uhhhh nice. Connor goes for his Opthomologist apt next week to see about his eye function from his accident(can you believe it has been almost a year). As far as I could tell he looks great, but he still can't look up with that eye, we will see.
Colin, he is just the messiest, dirtiest, rumble tumble boy of all time. He just got all of his teeth, for those of you who know, he may very well be the latest teether of all time. He is such a sweet boy and LOVES his mommy...well both of them do. He is talking up a storm and loves Elmo and Wall-E, which is a bit strange considering we don't have TV at the house.

I have been in and out of town recently for work but have a few weeks at home to spend with my the boys(which includes Kent) until my next trip.

We took a family trip to the FW Zoo last weekend and it was amazing. Pictures are attached for your viewing and I hope all is well!
The boys consume our days and nights, and bring a smile to our faces...like I said before, they are the best.

Until next time

How Embarassing!

Funny Pictures
Funny Videos

I had my moment as a parent, I am sure it will not be the last, that I wanted to crawl under the table and hide!

I was out of town for work Monday and Tuesday and thought that it would be nice to spend so Mommy and kid time at the local ice cream shop. The boys and I sat out on the patio together while they ate their double chocolate fudge ice cream enjoying our time and the amazing weather we have been having. All of a sudden Connor looks up and points to a lady maybe 2 feet away and says "Mom she is FAT" over and over and over. Petrified and heart broken for this lady, who actually was not fat, I just turned to Connor, gave him the ' you better shut your mouth right now look' and went on my way. I tried to explain to him that that was a mean word to use towards someone, but he insisted she was fat. It was never ending.....

Besides our moments like that life is going well! I am home until the beginning of Oct, I whole 2 weeks, and off the MN.

I hope all is well!

Connor's first soccer game

Connor had his first soccer game, he did great when he was on the field, but the problem was keeping him on the field. He would decide mid game he wanted to climb the bleachers, play at the park or go to the baseball fields. He is only 4 and it was very cute. I have to say, Coach Mark is one brave dad, and patient to say the least. I posted a few pics, and will post some of Colin as soon as I find my dang camera...I promise the pictures on there are adorable!!!

This weekend has been good, we have spent so much time outside, the boys went jogging with me twice(Sat night and Sun morning) and I have made the executive decision they are WAY to big to be pushing their combined weight of 80lbs up the hills in this neighborhood! Kent rode his bike this morning 40 miles and then happen to ride past us on my jog. The kids got a kick out of that. Colin is a talking fool, he was so cute, if I asked him where Daddy was he would say, "Daddy on a bike race", so when Kent rode up he lost it, he was so excited! Both the boys also got hair cuts, and are just so freaking cute...and man they needed them.

Our kids rule our world, and they happen to be the best boys in the world, they have been absolutely a pure joy this weekend! So sweet, loving and fun, its weekends like this that make the frustrating ones worth it.

Not much going on here...well with the kids

So things have been crazy here, but most of it is focused on work, my travel schedule and of course my wonderful kids. We are staying busy, and had such an amazing long weekend. The boys were so cute, they really do love each other, and played all weekend together. Of course, they also fought all weekend, but that just comes with the territory...I think. We spent the weekend lounging around the house, going over to Aunt Emmie(Emily) and Uncle Reid's house and swimming at Nanny and Poppy's. I have been so busy with work, that sometimes I don't know up from down so this weekend was wonderful. I took some great pics, and will post them as soon as I can figure out where I put my camera, it is MIA.

A typical day in the Freeman household is wake up 6:30-7 eat, get ready and leave drop off the kids and we go to work, I pick them up at 5 and it is play, play, play until 10pm which is their bed time. Needless to say I am out like a light with them and we start all over. So, my new goal is to get them to go to bed at a reasonable hour so I can actually do things like, laundry, watch a movie(we don't have TV) or heck go out on a limb and talk to my husband...now that is an idea. Wish me luck, we will see how easy this will be, I am telling you these kids are night owls, just like their daddy!!! Just a little venting, but we have so much to be thankful for, and the kids are so great that everyday is an absolute joy, no matter what our schedule is or how crazy it gets!

Connor had practice again yesterday and did much, much better. He met a little friend named Noah, who is on his team, and talks about him all the time. Both the boys are really amazing, and they keep us busy. Colin has been pretty stuffy lately, so I am just waiting for the ear infection to come on. I am off to Vegas next week for work, Austin the week after and Minnesota soon after that, but I will try and update this blog while I am away, until then pray for my amazing husband, who does such a wonderful job with the boys during my busy travel season.

Soccer and more

So, Connor had his first soccer practice last night, and to say it was an easy transition is pretty far fetched. Me being a former child soccer player thought it would and should be the coolest thing ever...I was wrong. Connor wanted nothing to do with his team, in fact, he actually asked if he could join the other team practicing on the same field. He thought it was cool when they had a race to see who could get to the ball the fastest, of course once he got there he threw himself on the ball like it was a football game. No hands, didn't go over that well to say the least. All in all it was comical. Colin had a blast, with Kent running all over the field after him in the 100 degree 5pm Texas weather. We were newbies at this and you could tell. Things to do differently; bring a chair, bring BIG HUGE water bottles, bring balls for Colin to play with, and don't expect a 4 year old to automatically know how to play soccer, it was not programmed into his DNA.

Colin has been a little talker this week, he thinks everything is funny and he has made an executive decision to not take crap from Connor anymore, and he has done it with a vengeance! The boy has a little temper, he looks like he is going to explode like a bomb and then just starts swinging...cute, but not acceptable. Everything else on the home front is good, keeping busy and working a lot, the boys are keeping us entertained in the evening and for me, at least, throughout the middle of the night...ughhh.

Till next time

Flight Museum

Today we ventured out to bring the boys to the Flight Museum. They had a blast, all Colin said was look, and wow the WHOLE time. Connor was absolutely amazed at the airplanes, the wings, propellers, and everything else there. After they ran around in ahhh..., we went to watch the planes take off and land, which they really got a kick out of. After working up a hunger it was of to the Original Pancake House for lunch, one of Kent's favorites. I really think he could eat breakfast there everyday all day. It was nice to get out and do something fun as a family, we have been so busy we forget the simple little things like family outings. Tonight Kent and I have plans to go to dinner together, which will be a nice break.
Above are some pictures, the one with Connor holding up his B-17 book is for his Great-Gran Pat, wish we were with you guys this weekend!
Till next time

Kid Challenged

So, this one will be short and sweet, but today is a kid challenged day. Oh My GOSH, talk about ganging up on mommy and testing the waters. Connor and Colin are mommy's challenge for the day you name it they have and are trying to get me today...it is actually a bit funny. Not listening, talking back, hitting, and the best one I ever heard, if you don't let me play a game, "Daddy's going to put you in time out", yea, I would like to see that one happen, hahaha.

They still are however the cutest little boys around, even if I am going to go insane in the process...love them to pieces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am officially a blogger, and a dork at that!

As you all know I have a sort of infatuation with my boys and what better way to keep everyone up to date then to have a Freeman Family blog. We will see how this works out, but if anything it will be comical.

We have been very busy lately, as I have been traveling pretty much weekly, of course Kent is so good with the boys they haven't had any issues. Friday I came home from a 3 day trip and low and behold Connor was sick. Since everything that went on in Nov I am a bit of a worry wart so I brought him to the doctor. He had a double whammy strep and some sort of virus...Yippee. So our weekend was comprised of being confined to our house...man did we go stir crazy. Things kind of got back to normal, when Colin got sick! I know I should have expected it but sometimes things are just a bit comical in our life, it is always one thing after another.

Besides that, Connor starts his 2nd year of preschool next week, and soccer the following week. Colin is still our little bubba and keeps us laughing. To that I will say good bye until next time.
