How Embarassing!
Funny Videos
I had my moment as a parent, I am sure it will not be the last, that I wanted to crawl under the table and hide!
I was out of town for work Monday and Tuesday and thought that it would be nice to spend so Mommy and kid time at the local ice cream shop. The boys and I sat out on the patio together while they ate their double chocolate fudge ice cream enjoying our time and the amazing weather we have been having. All of a sudden Connor looks up and points to a lady maybe 2 feet away and says "Mom she is FAT" over and over and over. Petrified and heart broken for this lady, who actually was not fat, I just turned to Connor, gave him the ' you better shut your mouth right now look' and went on my way. I tried to explain to him that that was a mean word to use towards someone, but he insisted she was fat. It was never ending.....
Besides our moments like that life is going well! I am home until the beginning of Oct, I whole 2 weeks, and off the MN.
I hope all is well!

Connor's first soccer game
Connor had his first soccer game, he did great when he was on the field, but the problem was keeping him on the field. He would decide mid game he wanted to climb the bleachers, play at the park or go to the baseball fields. He is only 4 and it was very cute. I have to say, Coach Mark is one brave dad, and patient to say the least. I posted a few pics, and will post some of Colin as soon as I find my dang camera...I promise the pictures on there are adorable!!!
This weekend has been good, we have spent so much time outside, the boys went jogging with me twice(Sat night and Sun morning) and I have made the executive decision they are WAY to big to be pushing their combined weight of 80lbs up the hills in this neighborhood! Kent rode his bike this morning 40 miles and then happen to ride past us on my jog. The kids got a kick out of that. Colin is a talking fool, he was so cute, if I asked him where Daddy was he would say, "Daddy on a bike race", so when Kent rode up he lost it, he was so excited! Both the boys also got hair cuts, and are just so freaking cute...and man they needed them.
Our kids rule our world, and they happen to be the best boys in the world, they have been absolutely a pure joy this weekend! So sweet, loving and fun, its weekends like this that make the frustrating ones worth it.

Not much going on here...well with the kids
So things have been crazy here, but most of it is focused on work, my travel schedule and of course my wonderful kids. We are staying busy, and had such an amazing long weekend. The boys were so cute, they really do love each other, and played all weekend together. Of course, they also fought all weekend, but that just comes with the territory...I think. We spent the weekend lounging around the house, going over to Aunt Emmie(Emily) and Uncle Reid's house and swimming at Nanny and Poppy's. I have been so busy with work, that sometimes I don't know up from down so this weekend was wonderful. I took some great pics, and will post them as soon as I can figure out where I put my camera, it is MIA.
A typical day in the Freeman household is wake up 6:30-7 eat, get ready and leave drop off the kids and we go to work, I pick them up at 5 and it is play, play, play until 10pm which is their bed time. Needless to say I am out like a light with them and we start all over. So, my new goal is to get them to go to bed at a reasonable hour so I can actually do things like, laundry, watch a movie(we don't have TV) or heck go out on a limb and talk to my husband...now that is an idea. Wish me luck, we will see how easy this will be, I am telling you these kids are night owls, just like their daddy!!! Just a little venting, but we have so much to be thankful for, and the kids are so great that everyday is an absolute joy, no matter what our schedule is or how crazy it gets!
Connor had practice again yesterday and did much, much better. He met a little friend named Noah, who is on his team, and talks about him all the time. Both the boys are really amazing, and they keep us busy. Colin has been pretty stuffy lately, so I am just waiting for the ear infection to come on. I am off to Vegas next week for work, Austin the week after and Minnesota soon after that, but I will try and update this blog while I am away, until then pray for my amazing husband, who does such a wonderful job with the boys during my busy travel season.
